See How Nassau County Made the Most of Summer

Posted on: July 30, 2024

While many have had rest and relaxation on their minds this summer, one Northeast Florida town has been focused on growth. Located just north of Jacksonville, Nassau County has been bustling with activity. Yulee and its surrounding areas are undergoing a new era of transformation, highlighted by major renovations and the announcement of a state-of-the-art hospital. Let’s take a closer look at all the excitement in and around Tributary, the region’s newest master-planned community.

Nassau County Medical Service

Baptist Nassau Crossing Medical Campus

Bringing innovation and convenient accessibility to Yulee, the Baptist Nassau Crossing Medical Campus is under construction and set to open this November. Located east of I-95 on State Road 200, this new facility will feature a freestanding Baptist & Wolfson Nassau Crossing Emergency Room & Imaging Center and medical center. The campus will include medical offices, two emergency centers—one being a Wolfson Children’s Emergency Center—and an imaging center equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including X-rays, ultrasounds, CT scans, and more. The Wolfson Children’s Emergency Center will provide the much-needed access to specialized pediatric healthcare to children and their families within the region. Spanning almost 24,000 square feet, the campus will offer residents high-quality medical care, eliminating the need to travel to hospitals in surrounding areas.

Nassau Fire Station 10

As of this past June, Fire Station 10 is officially under construction in Yulee. This 8,500-square-foot facility will feature three bays to accommodate an engine, rescue unit, and tanker. Designed for rapid deployments and efficient operations during emergencies, the station’s resources will provide the essential infrastructure needed to ensure community safety. The completion of Fire Station 10 will result in quicker response times for emergencies and create more jobs in the local area. Located on Edward Road, the station will give locals a greater peace of mind knowing there is a speedy and effective emergency response system in place.

EverBank Stadium

The Jacksonville City Council recently approved a $1.4 billion renovation for EverBank Stadium, home to the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars for the past 30 years. The plan now moves one step closer to reality, pending approval from 24 of the 32 NFL owners in October. The renovated stadium will feature a protective canopy for ample shade and will accommodate 63,000 fans, with an expanded capacity of up to 73,000. Additionally, the renovation will include first-class bars, restaurants, shops, premium seating options, lookout decks with city views, a nature park, and more. The project is scheduled to begin after the 2025 football season and be completed in time for the 2028 season.

Nassau County 55+ community amenity Center

Lakeview Amenity Center

Located in Nassau County, Lakeview 55+ is an active adult neighborhood within the master-planned community of Tributary. With home sales progressing and residents already moving in, construction is now well underway for the Lakeview Amenity Center. Designed exclusively for Lakeview residents, the 8,000-square-foot clubhouse will feature a resort-inspired pool, state-of-the-art Fitness Center, pickleball courts and adjacent entertainment areas. A full-time lifestyle director will also be on-site to orchestrate a wealth of events, activities, and programs tailored to diverse interests. While their Clubhouse is under construction, homeowners have been enjoying all the amenities Tributary’s Lookout Amenity Center has to offer, as well as the miles of planned nature trails, bike paths, and parks throughout Tributary.
