The 2025 lineup of North Florida events is shaping up to be unforgettable, featuring a packed schedule of festivals, concerts, outdoor adventures, and fun for all ages. For residents of Tributary, the region’s newest master-planned community, the action is right at their doorstep. Here are some of the top North Florida events they’re looking forward to in 2025.
January 7-12: Mamma Mia!
Mamma Mia!, the ultimate feel-good musical for over 25 years, is taking the stage at the Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts. Set on a Greek island, the story of love, friendship, and self-discovery unfolds through the timeless hits of ABBA.
January 17-26: Amelia Island Restaurant Week
Feast your way through Amelia Island’s best dining spots at this ten-day culinary showcase. The island’s favorite local hotspots will be offering mouthwatering prix fix lunch and dinner menus, as well as additional delicious events designed for food lovers.
January 24-26: Jacksonville Boat Show
Boats of all shapes and sizes are cruising in for the 77th Annual Jacksonville Boat Show. Hosted at the Prime F. Osborn II Convention Center, this event is packed with ski boats, fishing vessels, cruisers, personal watercraft, and more. Vendors will be on hand with everything needed to set sail in style, and there are surprises in store for kids as well.
January 24-25: Eagles Hits with a Symphony Twist
7 Bridges: The Ultimate Eagles Experience brings an authentic tribute to the Eagles’ iconic music to Jacoby Hall. This two-day performance by the Jacksonville Symphony features hits like “Hotel California,” “Take It Easy,” and more.
January 31 – February 2: DONNA Marathon The 18th Annual DONNA Marathon, the only national marathon dedicated to breast cancer research, features a 5K, half marathon, marathon, ultramarathon, and a health & wellness exp. This year’s theme, Destination: Fearless, serves as a powerful reminder of strength and bravery.
February 7: Jacksonville Icemen
The Jacksonville Icemen, the city’s minor league ice hockey team, are set for an exciting matchup against the Trois-Rivieres Lions at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena. This special game will also be Cancer Awareness Night, as the Icemen honor those who have fought and continue to fight the battle against cancer. The puck drops at 7 PM.
February 21-23: JAX College Baseball Classic
Four of the nation’s top college baseball teams will battle it out at 121 Financial Ballpark. The 2025 Jax College Baseball Classic will be a round-robin tournament featuring NC State, Alabama, Coastal Carolina, and Ohio State.
February 22-23: World Nations Celebration
Travel around the world in a day at the World of Nations Celebration. Taking place at downtown’s Tailgaters Parking, this annual international festival is North Florida’s largest multicultural festival.
February 28-March 1: Amelia Island Book Festival
Every year, the Amelia Island Book Festival brings the magic of reading and writing to life in a big way. With over 100 incredible authors on hand, readers can enjoy signings, food trucks, and author presentations, including sessions led by New York Times best-sellers.
March 6-9: Rare Car Show
Now in its third decade, the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance is among the top automotive events in the world. Gather at The Ritz-Carlton and The Golf Club of Amelia Island for a celebration of rare vehicles like no other.
March 8: Music & Arts Festival
Get ready for a day of music, art, and community at the Natural Life Festival! Set against the beachside backdrop of Seawalk Pavilion, this vibrant event runs from 12 – 8 PM. Enjoy an exciting lineup of local musicians, pop-up shops from talented artists, and gourmet eats.
March 28-30: Disney on Ice
Beloved characters from Disney’s Frozen and Encanto are hitting the ice at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena. Hosted by Mickey and Minnie, this family-friendly event invites everyone to sing along to their favorite songs while enjoying stunning ice skating performances.
April 4-6: Blues Festival
The 33rd annual Springing the Blues Music Festival will once again celebrate America’s indigenous music form at Seawalk Pavillion. This three-day free oceanfront event features national, regional, and local blues artists across two different stages.
April 10 – 12: Jacksonville Science Festival
The Florida State College at Jacksonville’s south campus presents the smartest and coolest science festival in the state. Learn some new scientific tricks along with the evidence-based logic behind them.
April 24: The Donna Summer Experience For the first time in Jacksonville, don’t miss the Donna Summer Experience at the Florida Theatre, straight from Las Vegas! Get ready to dance the night away as Rainere Martin brings the Queen of Disco’s timeless hits to life on a mystical 70s journey.
May 2-4: Shrimp Festival
The Annual Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival is Amelia Island’s biggest event weekend of the year. Held in Fernandina’s downtown historic district, the event includes a pirate parade, a huge art show, a shrimp boat festival, food booths, and more.
May 9: Cirque of Ice and Fire
Cirque de la Symphonie is back and promises more thrills than ever before! Watch strongmen, aerial flyers, acrobats, contortionists, jugglers, and more take the stage while the Jacksonville Symphony performs classical masterpieces that elevate the sense from cold to hot.
May 10-18: Nature Festival
Celebrate the beauty of nature at the 15th Annual Wild Amelia Nature Festival. This nine-day event offers a variety of activities for both adults and kids, showcasing the island’s diverse ecosystems and the amazing creatures that call them home.
