Avid Trails Secured to Design Tributary’s Trail System

Spanning across 1,550 acres of land and adjacent to state-protected parks, Tributary is filled with natural waterways and majestic evergreen forests to explore. Avid Trails

Avid Trails is a trail design company with extensive experience and knowledge in creating hiking, biking, and fitness trails. Founded in 2014, Avid Trails has developed sustainable nature trails across the country, and recently coordinated with GreenPointe Developers for a nature trail system at TrailMark, located in St. Augustine, FL. This community will feature approximately 23 miles of trails at build-out. The current 10+ mile network is designed to appeal to a wide variety of users, from casual walkers to competitive runners and cyclists. Some trails feature obstacles for climbing while others are punctuated by technical features for mountain bikers.

At Tributary, the trails will wind throughout the community and provide direct access points to the Nassau River and neighboring trailheads of the Four Creeks State Forest. These connections will allow residents to discover all their natural neighbors provide, including kayaking, fishing, horseback riding, and more. The trail system will also connect Tributary neighborhoods to the Tributary Regional Park that is now under construction. Here, residents will soon enjoy baseball and multi-purpose fields, picnic areas, a playground, a dog park, and canoe and kayak launch points.
