One of Nassau County’s newest natural additions has already created quite the excitement throughout North Florida. The highly anticipated Tributary Regional Park, located adjacent to GreenPointe’s master-planned community Tributary and just west of i-95, officially opened on November 1st. As a part of GreenPointe’s initiatives to conserve the natural wetlands that surround Tributary, the team has donated the 40 acres of land necessary to create a family-friendly destination that Nassau County residents of all ages could enjoy.
“As a developer, this is one of those special moments where you see a community come to life and see people enjoying a place that was once only a dream,” said Ed Burr, President and CEO, GreenPointe Holdings. “At GreenPointe, we are committed to making our communities a special place to live while enhancing the overall community, and there is no better example of that than Tributary Regional Park.”
Tributary Regional Park has been designed to be a social place, where everyone can come together to relax, unplug, and enjoy the surrounding nature. Let the younger children run wild at the new playground, where endless hours of fun with new friends lie ahead. Two multipurpose recreational fields, two baseball fields, and a batting cage serve as excellent spaces for those looking to play a game of baseball, work on their soccer skills, throw a football, or enjoy other games in the fresh Florida air. Visitors of all ages can enjoy the walking trail, concessions stand, and restroom facility that also opened during the park’s initial phase.
“Seeing a new park open up in our community is a dream come true,” said Jay Robertson, Nassau County Parks and Recreation Director. “I am certain that Tributary residents and all of their Nassau County neighbors will enjoy this beautiful new park.”
The fun, however, has just begun at Tributary Regional Park. Future plans for the park include additional baseball fields, a dog park, and a canoe and kayak launch at Boggy Creek for waterfront excursions. In addition to building Tributary Regional Park and preserving a significant portion of the community’s uplands and wetlands, GreenPointe has donated sites to build a Nassau County public school and a fire station in the future.
“As our Tributary community grows, so will the facilities that serve Nassau County, and we are excited to be a part of that,” said Liam O’Reilly, Regional President, GreenPointe Developers. “Tributary Regional Park will be a gathering place for team sports, outdoor fun and community bonding for athletes, fans and spectators of every age, and an asset for those currently living in the community as well as for generations to come.”
Spanning 1,550 picturesque acres, the master-planned community Tributary offers an impressive selection of family-friendly, homes from the $300s built by Dream Finders Homes, Lennar, and Richmond American Homes. Additionally, Tributary announced the addition of Lakeview 55+, Nassau County’s newest active-adult neighborhood within the community.
Tributary’s highly anticipated Lookout Amenity Center is also now open, providing a stylish social hub for residents to enjoy. A resort-style pool, state-of-the-art Fitness Center, two pickleball courts, a children’s playground, a dog park, and a recreational play field offer plentiful opportunities for residents of all ages to get outside and be actively engaged in fun activities.
Tributary’s Model Home Village features 6 designer-decorated models and is open daily for tours or can be viewed online.
